New e-Business Consulting Director

Bloom is reinforcing its online division and has teamed up with e-business expert Thomas Berger.

He is responsible for digital conceptualisation and e-business consulting. In his new position, he advises Bloom’s customers like Dörken MKS, Henrichsen, Henry Schein, piqd, torial, Trendence and Washtec as they optimise their marketing on the web – from integrated strategy through to concrete implementation. Mr Berger is also responsible for conceptualisation and implementation of e-business solutions and digital content products and is taking the lead in the interdisciplinary project team.

The 41-year-old comes to Bloom from the mediaprint Group, a corporate publishing specialist for print and online products. His responsibilities there were to manage the Online Services and e-Commerce divisions and he was in charge of web development, conceptualisation and e-business development.  Prior to that, Mr Berger worked at the Weltbild publisher in Augsburg as the e-Commerce Shop Manager and later at the Forum Media Group publisher Herkert, Merching as Manager of Online Services. The graduate with a degree in Information Management also has a strong IT background and works as a lecturer and advisor in the areas of online marketing and e-business development.
