GERMAN DESIGN AWARD 2021 FOR TUCHER ROTBIER
The Original Nürnberger Rotbier received creative accolades from the German Design Award 2021. The product launch was given a special mention in the “Integrated Campaigns and Advertising” category. The jury praised the strategically thought-out and successfully implemented launch concept consisting of packaging, POS measures and a cinema advertisement.

Original Nürnberger Rotbier’s credible regional concept not only convinced the German Design Awards; customers have also received it with open arms. Sales have exceeded all expectations. Since the market launch, the brewing kettles at Tucher’s “Altes Sudhaus”, which was specifically built for manufacturing the traditionally crafted Rotbier, has been running at full blast. Distribution in the retail and food services industries has also been successful.
Original Nürnberger Rotbier’s success story has made it clear: a sustainable communication strategy laid out for the long term is worth it. Communication agency Bloom Nürnberg has been supporting the Tucher traditional brewery and all its associated beer brands for over 15 years and has received several awards for its work during that time.
