Bloom has long history of partnering with Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (Dualen Hochschule Baden-Württemberg – DHBW). Sven Oppel has been working with us since 2016 as one of the cooperative media design students who has come to us over the course of the cooperation, switching between three-month theory phases at DHBW in Ravensburg and practical phases at Bloom in Munich. Our agency usually concurrently takes on two cooperative media design students on alternate schedules to make sure our cooperative position is always filled.
Sven Oppel has already become familiar with the basic module of elementary design presentation and techniques during the theory phases of his three-year programme. After taking orientation courses that focus on cross-media networking of design expression and how to create more complex design systems, students explore the course content in greater depth and choose their focus areas during the last two semesters.
From the beginning, Sven Oppel focused on print media, but his approach to multimedia and motion design has also been broadened. As a result, he has increasingly been tasked with audioreactive visuals, which are videos and animations that react to music and sound. And he has already seen major success. His logo design for the 40-year anniversary of DHBW Ravensburg/Friedrichshafen was selected as the winning design. His principle area of responsibility at Bloom is also logo design, adaptation and animation.
